AS You Run was established in 2020 to provide running opportunities to girls in NEPA. With focus on goal development, building strength, running form and training you'll be running in a way that will give you the confidence to call yourself a runner!
Coach Ali Schappert has experience coaching junior high school, varsity, and collegiate cross country and track and field in Luzerne County. As a mom, she took the leap of faith to build a community of youth runners to fill the void of the lack of youth running programs in NEPA.

AS You Run's mission is to promote confidence in running through a Christian faith-based program. We vision building a community of youth runners, who are strong of body and mind, and invest in the future running community of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Our summer training prepares runners for the Bernie's Memorial 3mi Run & Kids 1/2mi Run as well as the Keystone State Games. You do not need to participate in any of these events to join this practice group. This sign up does not cover the cost for the races' registration fees.
BERNIE'S MEMORIAL 3mi + 1/2mi (up to 10yo)
Tuesdays, JUNE 3 & 10 @ 6PM Solomon/Plains Middle School
Tuesdays, JUNE 17 & 24, JULY 1 @ 9AM Barney Farms, Riverside Drive
Runners will be be separated into groups according to their running development.
KEYSTONE STATE GAMES
Saturday, July 26 @ Wilkes-Barre Area Stadium
There will be a separate payment for those who plan to participate in the KEYSTONE STATE GAMES.
