Dear Friends and Family,
I hope you are having a great start to summer!
With just under two months to go, on August 2nd and 3rd, I’ll be riding in my 7th Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC)! For those who may not be familiar, the PMC (www.pmc.org) is a two-day fundraising bike ride that supports life-saving cancer research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
What makes the PMC so impactful is that 100% of every rider-raised dollar goes directly to Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund. Since its founding in 1980, the PMC has now contributed over $1.047 billion to the fight against cancer. In 2024 alone, riders and donors raised a record-breaking $75 million — and we’re pushing to raise even more this year.
I’ll once again be riding with the Boston Bruins Foundation team, taking on the full 192-mile route from Sturbridge to Provincetown over two days. Last year, our team alone raised more than $250,000, and we’re aiming even higher this year.
Cancer touches so many lives — friends, family, colleagues — and that’s why I ride. To honor those we’ve lost, support those who are fighting, and help fund the breakthroughs that are changing lives.
If you’re able, I would be incredibly grateful for your support — whether it’s through a donation, cheering us on, or sharing my fundraising link with others who might also want to contribute to this meaningful cause. Every bit truly helps, and every dollar makes a difference.
Thank you so much for being part of this journey with me.
In gratitude,
Joe Ferraro
