Dr. Shaival Kapadia has been a highly respected cardiology and medical community leader for over 20 years. He has earned “Top Doc” status for decades due to his dedication to personalized and participatory precision medicine. Throughout Dr. Kapadia’s career as a practicing physician and as an entrepreneur, he has strived to create a connected cardiovascular care model.
While the “heart” of his practice at James River Cardiology is the care of patients with general cardiology needs, Dr. Kapadia also works with the team to enhance the patient experience and extend care beyond the clinic's four walls.
Dr. Kapadia received his medical degree from the University of Virginia and then completed his residency in internal medicine at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. He went on to complete a fellowship in cardiology at Brown University at Rhode Island Hospital. He is board-certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Disease.
He is based primarily at our office at the Ashlake Medical Center off Hull Street in Chesterfield but also sees patients at our Richmond/West End office.
