This year, I am participating in Miles for Moffitt and moving for what matters - love, hope, and finding the cures to cancer.
I returned to CT in February 2025 to celebrate a life cut too short by an aggressive form of cancer. Jeff Camp was 59 when he died on February 7. Many decades ago I met Jeff. Through Jeff, I met his girlfriend Peggy, who introduced me to the woman who would become my wife. I was reminded that day in February how one life ripples through so many other lives. If I had not met Jeff, I would not have met the woman who became my wife. We would not have raised our three children together, etc.
I am asking for your support as I fundraise for cancer research at Moffitt Cancer Center. I have been employed for over 3 years at Moffitt. The dedication to the Moffitt Mission - to contributed to the prevention and cure of cancer - ripples through the organization from the CEO to the person who sweeps the floors.
Research at Moffitt results in new clinical trials and new treatments that help improve the lives of those touched by cancer.
