“Angelina was a born fighter. Born 6 weeks premature, at a whopping 6 lbs 12 oz, Angelina was determined to do everything on schedule and without intervention. From eating, to walking and talking, Angelina knew no restrictions and was no cookie cutter model. Diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma at 3.5 years old, Angelina beat the odds and survived almost 7 years of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation and multiple surgeries. But she never let that stand in her way!
In her short time on this Earth, Angelina did everything from indoor skydiving, to breakfast in the Grand Canyon, zip lining down a Hawaiian volcano and swimming with sharks (well fed, socialized sharks in an aquarium, not the cage biting great whites she wanted, and she would clarify that her mother's fulfillment of her request was NOT what she had meant.) She was the epitome of living life to the fullest and making the most of the time you have, no matter how short.
Angelina passed away on February 21, 2020 plunging the world into chaos, as she was apparently the lynchpin holding everything together (who knew?).” - Danielle Phillips
About Infinite Love
Infinite Love is a 100% volunteer-run 501c3 nonprofit foundation with the dual missions of 1) funding new pediatric cancer research (click here for an itemized list of what we've already funded), and 2) providing financial and emotional support to families currently fighting childhood cancer. Because there are no Infinite Love salaries, everything that you give goes entirely to our cause! Thanks to generous supporters like you, since 2013 we have funded over $1.3 million in research grants to some of our country's leading research hospitals and facilities and we've written thousands of dollars of support checks to childhood cancer families, given backyard makeovers, sent kids to sports events, built dream tree houses and we’ve unfortunately even covered the expenses for memorials.
Please note that this Team Angelina page is raising funds for Infinite Love for Kids Fighting Cancer where 100% of the proceeds will be used to fund research and to help families affected by childhood cancer. This fundraising page is not raising funds for Angelina’s family directly.
