I’m fundraising in honor of my incredible son, Miles, who was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition called the KDM5C variant. This diagnosis has impacted many areas of his development, and while our journey hasn’t been easy, Miles continues to grow with the most beautiful strength, curiosity and determination.
We’re proud to be participating in The KARES Foundation Race, which raises awareness and funds for children and families affected by rare genetic disorders like KDM5C. Every step we take in this race is for Miles — and for all the other children who deserve answers, therapies, and a future full of possibility.
