Hi, I am a 15 year old student from Brooklyn, New York and my dreams in life are to become a professional runner and to serve in the Navy. This month I am participating on behalf of the Maji Movement. For all of March, I pledge to walk at the bare minimum of 50,000 steps per week. The average distance that people facing water insecurity must walk to access clean drinking water is 3 miles, and I am striving to walk that distance at least 4 days each week to bring awareness to the global water crisis.
My fundraising goal is $100 which is enough to fund a biosand filter for a family in Tanzania that will provide then 20+ years of clean water.
