I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you with a heart full of passion and a vision for change. As someone who shares a deep commitment to Camp-Man-A-Dream, I am reaching out to invite you to join us in our mission of empowering cancer survivors and their families to live with and beyond their diagnosis. Camp Mak-A-Dream holds a special place in my heart because of losing my dad to cancer many years ago and currently I am watching my very best friend of 40 years fighting to survive. Your contribution, no matter the size, will directly impact Camp Mak-A-Dreams ability to create a haven for cancer survivors, providing them with transformative experiences in the breathtaking landscapes of Montana.
RATPOD (Ride around the Pioneer Mountains in one day) has been the driving force behind Camp Mak-A-Dream's success, making it the largest fundraising event for this extraordinary cause. The route takes us 130 miles around the Pioneer Mountains near Dillon, Montana and this year they have added a 90-mile gravel option for those that want to get very dirty. I have opted for the gravel. This year the RATPOD is on it's 23rd year and I started doing the ride about 18 years ago.
