The Lauren McCluskey Foundation was established to honor the life and spirit of Lauren McCluskey. Our mission is to change the culture that responds poorly to relationship violence and stalking on campuses. We aim to make campuses across the country safer and more supportive environments where students can thrive.
Our dedicated team is committed to advocating for these causes and implementing targeted programs to create lasting change in Lauren’s memory. By working together, we aim to transform how campuses address and respond to relationship violence. Our programs include:
- Developing a campus safety score
- Lauren's Promise: "I will listen and believe you, if you are being threatened."
- ESPN LISTEN+ Screenings, educating students and faculty on the importance of response
- Free self-defense trainings
- Trauma-informed police trainings
- Awareness memorial walks, galas, and races
- Supporting amateur athletics
- Free online virtual therapy with a licensed BetterHelp counselor for victims and survivors
