Our Goal for the Race this year is to:

Add Funding to Support Positive Experiences – Increase Exposure, Earlier and More Often!

For years, gun violence has plagued our community, leaving lasting scars on our youngest members and creating Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) that fuel trauma and limit opportunity. At the Love of Learning Institute, we believe in breaking that cycle by providing early, enriching experiences that not only heal but help children discover who they’re meant to become.

We are a mobile community center focused on children ages zero to five, along with the families, caregivers, and educators who support them. Our goal is to spark curiosity, build resilience, and uncover strengths, giving each child a glimpse into their future potential through joyful, hands-on learning.

Our partners include Daycare Centers, Experience Providers, Community Centers, Libraries, and YOU.

Right now, we invest $776 to host an Experience Day four times a year, serving 160 children. With your support, we can TRIPLE that to 12 Experience Days, reaching 480 children annually.

These aren’t just play days—they’re powerful opportunities to explore the world, try new things, and reveal passions, talents, and possibilities that might shape a child’s future career or calling.
