The race is raising money for Kiwimbi International’s impactful programs supporting opportunity through education in rural Kenya.

Before Kiwimbi, fewer than 10% of the grade 8 students in the local community were passing the national exam; now, their pass rate is in the 55% range!

Kiwimbi’s free public Library, vocational training, and Prep for Success program are unique and are transforming the local community into a population with literacy and math competency, as well as one with essential vocational skills.
