I’m running the Tunnel to Towers 5K not just for the heroes it honors, but to embrace the change my life has endured—and to recognize the power of small, consistent acts. Just like Tunnel to Towers was born from one act of courage, I’ve learned that even the smallest choices can lead to lasting transformation.
My sacrifices will never compare to those who ran into danger to save others. But I run in their memory, with deep respect for what they gave.
