At 85 years old, Dad has suffered Cluster Headaches twice yearly, each Spring and Fall, weeks at a time, for decades until he came to live with us in 2022. 

The studies funded by and found through ClusterBusters enabled us to help Dad stop having them! Dad is also living with Alzheimer’s and he is having a ball: singing every day, in his ice cream season, well loved and supported.

Please support me as I walk to raise awareness for cluster headache, which is a debilitating disease that causes attacks of intense pain. 

Cluster headache is known as “su!c!de headache” because of the increased risk among those who live with this disorder.

The pain is described as worse than getting shot, giving birth, or having kidney stones.

Watching Dad suffer with them, and nursing him through them all night long, for weeks, trying to explain it to him over and over (cuz Alzheimer’s makes people forget), and trying to coach him through the oxygen techniques was exhausting and frustrating for all concerned.
