Thank you so much for supporting my family's walk benefiting The Haven! Your contribution helps make a difference in the lives of our housing insecure neighbors - helping them remain in or move into a safe, warm, and comfortable home. 

The Haven is an incredible resource in the Charlottesville community, providing a space and the resources to meet their everyday human needs, including a hot breakfast, laundry facilities, showers, and more. As the only low-barrier day shelter in our area, your support ensures our neighbors continue to have a warm, welcoming refuge!

These are SOME of the ways your donation has an impact on our neighbors: 

• $50 covers a rental application fee, a critical step in accessing housing!
• $200 pays for a hot and nutritious breakfast meal one morning, serving upwards of 100 people
• $400 helps a neighbor pay half a month's rent in shared housing while they work towards long-term housing stability
• $600 provides a month's worth of utilities to keep the shelter warm and comfortable, provide over 500 showers (monthly average!), and more 
• $3,000 covers the initial costs for a family to move into a 2-bedroom apartment
