The Leading Edge Take Heart (LETH) 5K is an annual event held in Lakeland, FL that makes a global impact in the lives of orphans and widows in rural Kenya. This year, the majority of funds raised will go towards education and entrepreneurship projects in the Oyuma Village community in rural Kenya. Runners and walkers alike can make a difference together by participating in this family community event in downtown Lakeland, Saturday Sept. 13th!
This mission is near to my heart in more ways than one. I support 2 students' education and having visited Kenya myself, my heart is burdened because of all the things that I have and opportunities simply because of where I was born. I keep in touch with many students in Kenya to encourage them.
