Pet Rescue of Mercer (PRM) is a volunteer-run, nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization based in Mercer County, NJ, and has been operating since 1997. Dedicated to saving neglected, abused, and abandoned animals, PRM pulls dogs and cats from local shelters to prevent unnecessary euthanasia and works directly with pet owners to rehome surrendered animals, helping keep them out of shelters. Without a physical facility, PRM relies on foster homes to care for adoptable cats and dogs until forever homes are found.
