Second Harvest Food Bank Santa Cruz provides healthy meals to 55,000 Santa Cruz County residents per month, over half of whom are children. In addition to food, Second Harvest delivers nutrition education directly to our clients through two innovative programs, Food for Children and Passion for Produce. At over 60 sites across Santa Cruz County, we provide dry food staples, fresh fruits and vegetables, and our Nutrition Ambassadorsshare information about healthy eating, food preparation, low-cost options, and ways to support a healthy lifestyle for everyone in the household.
