This is what I do everyday! A wonderful group of educators in our district are trained to provide excellent reading instructions for all students. That includes every grade and students who need extra help for a variety of reasons, including dyslexia, low fluency rate or trouble with comprehension. Personally, I work at Sandpoint High School to provide screening for identifying students who need the reading support, and I utilize a variety of research based programs and strategies to meet those needs. Funds raised from this event support all the things related to our endeavor to graduate every Student a reader.
