On July 4th, our family’s world changed forever. We lost our beautiful cousin Katie after her courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Katie was a light in every room, a steady hand in difficult times, and the kind of person who made everyone feel valued and loved. Her compassion knew no bounds.
Katie faced her illness with strength and positivity. She lived a life centered on kindness, putting others before herself, even when she was fighting her own battles. She inspired all of us to live with more empathy, generosity, and joy.
Your donation can make a vital difference in advancing ovarian cancer research. The MiDe Study is led by Dr. Kevin Elias who is a gynecologic oncologist and surgeon-scientist. Dr. Elias and his team of researchers have identified a groundbreaking new process to detect ovarian cancer at its earliest stages. The initial results of Dr. Elias’ research are incredibly promising!
