Celebrating Black Excellence Virtual Bike Ride
Blessed2bfit is excited to invite you to their very first bike ride event called “Celebrating Black Excellence Virtual Bike Ride 2021”, which will be held on February 27, 2021. This will be one of the best virtual bike ride experiences in the nation! As we continue to find new ways to exercise while social distancing, this is one way to celebrate those extraordinary individuals which include people from within our community, political leaders, activists, musicians, athletes, poets, educators, artists, etc. Blessed2bfit has also taken a step forward to explore new ways to connect our supporters, and other cyclists around the world and we are excited to announce that we’re collaborating with Black Girls Do Bike San Diego and the Harvey Family Foundation.
There are two distances to choose from:
Light Route: 10 miles Intermediate Route: 20 miles
SUGGESTED TRACKING APPS (not mandatory): For tracking your distance and time, you can use whatever app or system that's best for you (Garmin, MapMyRun, Strava, etc.).
$25 for 10 miles or $25 for 20 miles
One Dry-fit Short Sleeve T-Shirt
Registration dates: February 2, 2021, to February 26th, 2021
Those that register on February 20th by 11:59 pm MST are guaranteed to receive a race shirt before the February 27th. Those participants who register after February 21st will receive their shirts after the event date. Registration will officially close on February 26th.

Black Girls Do Bike - San Diego has two beautiful scenic routes that are self-explanatory so that you can do it on your own or as a group for those that reside or are visiting San Diego. We've developed a racing approach to manage COVID-related risks, so you can expect to ride in a safe and distanced way if you decide to ride with us as a group. We will provide a low-key and COVID-safe biking environment, for those that would like to ride either of the routes with us.
These two routes are just suggestions and are not mandatory. We will meet at the Mission Bay Info Center located at 2688 E. Mission Bay Drive, San Diego, CA 92109 at 7 am to do an out and back route. Please feel free to click on the link below to preview the route.
All participants will receive one Dri-FIT t-shirt with innovative polyester fabric designed to help keep you dry and comfortable.
