Come celebrate the 20th year of the Bike Adventure by joining us as we recreate the first Fuller Center cross-country ride ever!

This route is a culmination of everything cyclists want in a cross-country ride: beautiful scenery, build days, and incredible host churches. Over 8 weeks the group will experience the country by bike from the beautiful beaches of San Diego to the final destination on Savannah’s Atlantic Coast.

The group will have the opportunity to volunteer on 6-7 different build days, one in Millard Fuller’s hometown, and even visit The Fuller Center for Housing headquarters in Americus, Georgia.

This multi-week event offers the opportunity to escape winter’s cold and enjoy the endless sun of southern Florida, all while creating an opportunity to serve those in need of a decent place in which to live.

It has all the components of a perfect Fuller Center ride…great routes, great church hosts, and incredible volunteer days!

Plus, the Fuller Center will transport you and your bike back to the start from Key West at the end of the event.

The Silver Comet trail is one of the longest, most pleasant paved trails in the country, especially when adding in the Chief Ladiga Trail into Alabama. Even better, we will start and finish at the same location, making travel arrangements much easier.

Experience northern Georgia while creating an opportunity to serve those in need of a decent place in which to live.

The Silver Comet Trail ride is an out and back, so you’ll see the trails from both directions and those who drive can leave their vehicles near the start.

We couldn’t celebrate our 20th year of Bike Adventures without including a 4 week vertical crossing of the country! Starting near the Gulf and heading north, this route crosses 7 states and includes 5 opportunities to volunteer with local Fuller Centers along the way.

There are 4 segments you can choose from, or join us for the whole adventure! Highlights include riding on the Natchez Trace Parkway and through dozens of historical sites, stopovers in Nashville, Louisville & Indianapolis, and a grand finish on the shores of Lake Michigan.

Come join us as we take 9 days of northern roads and trails! The Paul Bunyan, Lake Wobegon and Heartland Trails combined make up just over 250 miles of this adventure as you roll through scenic valleys and lakeside forests! The trip starts and ends at Detroit Lakes, MN where there will be a volunteer day with our local Fuller Center partner.

A 2-week long looping route which takes in some of the best roads and trails in the Rockies. You’ll have eleven days on the bike and 2 optional days of hiking to explore Colorado’s high country. Mid-way through we’ll have a volunteer day with our Fuller Center partner in Cedaredge – helping to improve living conditions along side a family in the community.

This route starts and ends with volunteer days at two of our long-time Fuller Center partners. In between, we’ll take in some of the best scenery and cycling trails and roadways in New England. Come ride with us through 7 states to see the beauty and splendor of the changing fall foliage. Riders will finish in the shadow of Lady Liberty and have the chance to visit NYC.

There’s a a reason we return each year to ride this historic road! Not only is it one of America’s best biking roads, but our hosts along the way have perfected the art of southern hospitality. Really, about the only things lacking on the Trace are stoplights and big commercial trucks! Come join us in 2027 and see what this route is all about!
