The Wilson100 is named after Scott Wilson, one of the past presidents of the Southern Bicycle League who made tremendous contributions to improving cycling in the Atlanta area. Scott Wilson was in his late 30’s when he passed away in September 1986 of cancer. This being the original SBL Century ride that started in the 1970’s was re-named for Scott in 1987. We want to continue this annual event in 2020 with a twist this year - the VIRTUAL CHALLENGE edition!

Not knowing how the status of COVID-19 will be come our usual race weekend in September we feel it best to do the ultimate social distance ride by encouraging you to bike with us wherever you are - on your time, on a road or course you choose. We want to bring the cycling community back together, virtually for now. We miss seeing all of your smiling faces in real life and until that can safely happen again, we want to see your photos and watch your rides from afar. We are bringing to you a virtual version of the Wilson 100 events, and for the daring a 1,000 kilometer challenge to get out and stay fit while social distancing.
