Northside Baptist Church Youth Missions Virtual 5k Fun Run

Join us for a fundraiser - Northside Baptist Church Youth Missions Virtual 5k Fun Run!

Grab your family or friends, your tennis shoes and join us for a VIRTUAL 5k (3.1 miles) fun run/walk.  Northside Baptist Church is hosting this fundraising event for our youth.  All proceeds from the virtual fun run will go toward our youth mission team and summer camp.  NBC youth are headed to Savannah the first week of June to assist a church there with Vacation Bible School.  The students will be doing outreach and assisting with VBS activities.  

What is a virtual fun run?  A virtual fun run is a run, jog or walk where you choose the time, place and pace.  Our virtual race can be completed anytime between May 14th and May 21st.  The cost is $25 for adults and $15 for kids and youth.  Registration includes a short-sleeved t-shirt. 

How does a virtual 5K work?

1.       Register for the event – register online at runsignup.com or complete the paper form 

2.       Run, jog or walk the 5K distance (3.1 miles) anytime between May 14th and May 21st.  Keep track of the time it takes you to complete the 5K.

3.       Submit your results or just let us know you completed the 5k - upload your results on runsignup or submit your time via email to heruskae@yahoo.com

4.       Celebrate your accomplishment and share on social media #NBCYouthMissions5k

5.        Wear your t-shirt - THANK YOU to all participants and sponsors!!

All participants receive a short sleeve t-shirt.  Shirts will be available for pickup from Northside Baptist Church.  You will be notified by email or phone with the t-shirts are ready.  Register by April 30th to be included in the first t-shirt order.  Final t-shirts orders will be placed at the conclusion of the event on May 22nd.
