Join us in 2026 and celebrate our airport's 100th Anniversary!

Race Date: Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 8:00 AM

Join us for a 5K Run, 1 Mile Walk and Kids Dash on the main runway and taxiways at Chicago Executive Airport in Wheeling, Illinois. The 5K course is USATF Certified, and chip timed. Hang out after your event for podium awards, music, food, giveaways and kids activities. Plus keep an eye out for princess and superhero guest appearances through the morning!

Strollers and wagons are welcome. No pets are allowed. 

Giveaways:

• Participation medals and top Finisher pins will be awarded

• Participants who register prior to Friday, May 1, 2026 are guaranteed a shirt

  • 5K Run and 1-Mile Walk registration shirts will be unisex adult sizing

  • Kids Dash shirts will be youth sizing 

*No additional shirts will be ordered after May 1, 2026. Supplies are limited, register early to guarantee your shirt size.

In case of inclement weather, a cancellation call will be made by 8:30AM on event day. This is a fundraising event with proceeds benefiting local aviation scholarships. As a result, no refunds will be issued, and the event will not be rescheduled.
