WHAT'S A RUCK?!?

A ruck is walking/hiking with a weighted pack. Rucking is a fundamental part of military training, involving soldiers walking long distances while carrying heavy packs. It's used to build strength, endurance, and prepare soldiers for combat.

Ruck & Roll participants can use weighted packs, vests, or no weight at all!

RUCK & ROLL EVENT OPTIONS:

Ruck (Competitive or Social)

  • Competitive Ruckers carry weight (20 lbs if under 150 lbs / 40 lbs if over 150 lbs). Rucksacks or weighted vests accepted. Varying distances - see below.
  • Social Ruckers carry no weight — just come enjoy the day!

Roll – Adaptive Athlete Division
