Description
Lace up and make every mile matter at the Victory Project 5K on May 9th in Kansas City! Starting along the iconic Plaza, runners will take off on a scenic course that winds its way toward and around the legendary Kansas Speedway—bringing together community, purpose, and a one-of-a-kind race experience.
Whether you’re chasing a PR or walking in support, every step helps empower children battling life-threatening illnesses through the Victory Project. Enjoy an energizing race atmosphere, inspiring stories, and a meaningful way to give back alongside fellow Kansas City runners.
Join us at the starting line and be part of something bigger than the finish line.
Packet Pickup
We will offer packet pickup at a Planet Fitness location prior to race day (TBD) & the morning of the race, and will open 1.5 hours before the event starts.
We will email all participants information for pre-packet pickup!

The Victory Project's mission is to enhance the lives of children with cancer and create inclusive opportunities through soccer for youth with disabilities and limited financial resources.
Victory Run x Planet Fitness will raise funds to support this mission to continue offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for children battling cancer to enjoy a VIP weekend with Sporting Kansas City, filled with fun and unforgettable experiences. Since 2017, The Victory Project and Sporting Kansas City have honored over 250 Honorees thanks to the generosity of partners like Planet Fitness!
At The Victory Project, we view this as a valuable opportunity to increase awareness of our cause and engage more people in our mission. This will enable us to make a larger impact and assist more children in our community.

Refund/Cancellation Policy
All events proceed rain, shine, snow, or cold. For that reason, we have a strict no-refund policy. If you are unable to participate in the event, you can still receive your packet, shirt, and medal, and you simply run the race on your own time on your own course.
This time of year the weather is iffy, but we will only cancel if our venue requires cancellation, or if there are ice hazards on the roads or course.
