The 100 mile century route will start and finish in Reston, VA, measures exactly 103 miles, includes 5145' of elevation gain, 33.8 miles on W&OD, 24.8 on suburban streets, and 44.4 miles on rural roads. This ride has plenty of variety as riders start amidst subdivisions and strip malls of Fairfax County’s suburbia, then ride along serene country roads of rural Loudoun County, through the city streets of the Town of Leesburg, and then cruise back to Reston via the mellow W&OD rail trail.  In order, the full century travels through the towns of Reston, Herndon, Ashburn, Leesburg, Hamilton, Purcellville, Hillsboro, Lovettsville, Waterford, Leesburg, Ashburn, Herndon, and returns to Reston.  Click here for map, cue sheet, and elevation profile.
