MSE Racing is once again excited to host the Gritty Grassy Gravel Race at the beautifully wooded Innsbrook Resort.  This challenging race is incredibly fun, pretty tough, and gorgeous! You can do it on any OFF road bike: hybrid, mountain, gravel or cyclocross bikes. The race starts at 10:00am at the historic Innsbrook log cabin located across from scenic Alpine Lake.  Stick around after the race for post ride refreshments, firepits and music!
Race Options:
1 x 10ish mile loop = Single Gritty
2 x 10ish mile loop = Double Gritty
3 x 10ish mile loop = Triple Gritty
A portion of our proceeds goes to Wags and Whiskers, a pet rescue center in Warrenton, MO.

Race location:
Innsbrook Resort
596 Aspen Way Drive Wright City, MO 63390

Once you get to the Innsbrook Resort MAIN GATE, tell them you are doing the Groovy Gritty Gravel Race. There will be cones and arrows to guide you to the event location once you are on site.  It is very important to enter at the main gate, navigator may try and take you to a closed entrance.  After you enter through the MAIN GATE follow THESE directions:

Take the first, quick right on Aspen Way Dr
Turn right on Meadow Valley.
Turn left on Lake Konstanz
Turn left on Alpine Lake Dr.
Right when you start to see the lake on the right, you will see a small sign on the LEFT for the Log Cabin. Turn there. Once you turn onto the gravel road to the cabin and go down the hill you will soon ride up, you will see a volunteer or sign for parking in a grass field to your right.

9:00am chip pickup starts at the MSE tent.  Chips must be returned after you finish.
Line up 9:50 for the pre-race talk, start is 10:00.  Stick around after the race and enjoy some beer, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks around a few fire pits.
While riding, athletes need to pay attention to the green cones with arrows.  No arrow?  Don’t turn!  We only have a couple volunteers, so riders need to pay attention.  The gravel is deep in some parts and very loose - we encourage getting after it but please slow it down on descents and ride smart.                        RACE CUTOFFS: Athletes will have 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete each loop. Race management reserves the right to remove an athlete from the course and DNF the athlete if course officials determine there is no possibility of an athlete finishing the given loop before the posted cut off times based on an athlete’s location, time, and average speed up to that point.
Awards will occur for each distance once enough finishers are in to solidify results for that distance.

For your friends still on the fence, they can sign up on race day!
For your friends who want to come with you and enjoy a beautiful place and fun event we need volunteers:
