Turkey Trot TRI

Distances: Sprint Triathlon

Swim: 500 meters

Bike: 6.2 miles

Run: 1.6 miles

Start/Finish:

Athletes would start and finish at the Aquatic Center.  Each Transition would be in the Aquatic Center Parking lot. Transition #1: (Swim to Bike) Would be in the parking lot of the aquatic center.  Swimmers could exit out the side door of the pool area to access their bikes near the parking lot as shown on map below. 

Transition #2: (Bike to Run) Would be in the parking lot of the aquatic center.  Bikers would park their bikes and start their run as shown on map below.  

Finish: In the Aquatic Center parking lot on Bush Street under the PRC arch!

Triathlon Individual: Swim cap, Shammy and Medal
Triathlon Team Relay: Swim cap, Shammy and Medal

1st Place Age Group Awards:  14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39-40-49-50-59, 60-69-70-79-80-89, 90+

SWIM: All the swimming will take place in the Aquatic Center Lap Pool.  The laps will be counted by the Aquatic Center Staff. 

BIKE ROUTE: (Elevation 119 ft 6.2 miles):  Turn left on Richey and go all the way down Richey.  Turn around before Mirage Road at the marked location with cones and signs.  Head east on Richey and turn right on Bowman.  Turn right into the Aquatic Center Parking lot.  Put up bike where you got it and get ready for Transition #2. 
 

RUN ROUTE:  (Out and Back) Turn right out of the Aquatic Center Parking Lot onto Bowman.  Get on the sidewalk and you will be running on the sidewalk for MAJORITY of the run.Turn right on JJ Clark Dr.  Turn around at the cones marked “Turn Around” and head east on JJ Clark Dr. Turn left on Bowman.  Turn left into the parking lot of the Aquatic Center and run through the finish line arch.
Elevation gain: 22 ft. Total Distance: 1.6 miles (SPRINT TRI)
