The IceBreaker Challenge is a one of a kind Capital District running/walking road race challenging runners and walkers against rowers from the Albany Rowing Center. Runners/walkers will travel along the Corning Preserve Bicycle Path while rowers from the Albany Rowing Center will race along side in shells on the Hudson River. Come join us for this unique and exciting event at the Albany Rowing Center Boathouse in the Corning Preserve.
Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. Kids run starts at 9:30 a.m., and 5K starts at 10:00 a.m.
Packet pick-up and last-chance registration will be Friday, March 25 from 4-7p.m. at The Albany Pump Station, 19 Quackenbush Square, or race day beginning at 8:00 a.m. SHIRTS SUPPLIES ARE LIMITED. SHIRTS NOT GUARANTEED AT LAST-CHANCE REGISTRATION.
Parking at the Corning Preserve Boat Launch. If the boat launch lot fills, parking attendants will direct you to an overflow lot.
