Tour de Varacallo Bicycle Race and Memory Walk is back!
Date: Sunday, July 25th, 2021
Where: DuBois Area YMCA (25 Parkway Drive)
NEW START TIME: 8:15am (due to baseball & softball tournaments at Heindl & Stern Fields)
Preregistration Deadline: Monday, July 19, 2021
Come join us for a bicycle race at the Dr. Albert Varacallo Memorial Event! We are so excited to host the race in person this year, as we had to go to a virtual platform in 2020. The Tour de Varacallo is an amateur bicycle race in memory of the late Dr. Albert Varacallo who was a family practice physician and an avid cyclist. This scenic 18.2-mile race starts in the City of DuBois and passes through Sandy and Union Townships. It features hill climbs as well as flat and rolling terrain.
Please note: Signing up by Monday, July 19, 2021 for the in person bicycle race guarantees that you will receive a t-shirt. Signing up after the 19th does not guarantee a t-shirt as there will be a limited number of extra t-shirts at the event.
