IMPORTANT: Course maps are published for informational purposes only, for registered racers only. Cook County Forest Preserve rules prohibit speed training outside of the scheduled race day. All trails at Paul Douglas are directional and open to multiple user groups including cyclists, runners, hikers. Depending on the day of the week, runners and hikers go the opposite direction of cyclists. EXPECT THE TRAILS TO BE BUSY DURING THE RUN-UP TO THE RACE, INCLUDING TRAIL WORKERS WITH EQUIPMENT AND MACHINERY ON THE TRAIL. THE TRAILS AT PAUL DOUGLAS CANNOT BE CLOSED ON AUUGUST 20, RACE DAY, BUT WILL BE MONITORED BY COURSE MARSHALS WITH CAUTION "MTB RACE IN PROGRESS'' SIGNS LOCATED AT ALL TRAIL ENTRY POINTS.
