Day-of Event Details

Riders Will ALL Leave at 9:00 AM ⏰
This year we will be moving back to a collective start time with all riders leaving at 9:00 AM. Once you check in at the registration desk, you can head over to the Raffle Prize area, place your tickets on the prizes that you would love to take home, then gather outside for the F45 pre-ride warm up at 8:30 AM, stay for the group kick-off at 8:55 AM, and then head out on the trail.

The winners of the raffle prizes will be drawn at noon.  Place your tickets on the prizes your would like to win, anytime between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm, and stay for the excitement of the winner announcements!  If you can’t stay, don’t worry- just put your name and phone number on the ticket, and we will contact you with instructions on how to pick your prize after Ride Day!

Ride Begins at Capital Banquet Center 🚲
The Ride will start and end at Capital Banquet Center, 12350 31 Mile Road, Washington, MI (east of Van Dyke Road).  Helmets are required, and proper safety protocols should be followed.

Each participant can ride the distance they choose. Riders will being heading south on the Macomb Orchard Trail to 26 mile; head west on 26 mile to the Stony Creek Metro Park entrance, ride around the Stony Creek Metro Park paved loop, and then return to the starting point. Riders can turn around at any point, depending on their fitness level.  Riders should ride for “time” not for “distance” and return to the hall by 11:30 am to be sure they don’t miss out on lunch!

We will have a rest stop at Main Street Bicycles (approx 6 miles out), and another rest stop near the Stony Creek Metro Park boat launch (approx 14 miles out).

 8:00 am – Registration Opens for all riders to check in.

  • If you are already registered, pick up your rider packet.
  • If you have a friend or family member that wants to join you, they can register in person on the morning of the ride.
  • There will be a Memory Board on site, so that you can post a picture of a loved one, or write their name and add it to the board

8:30 am - Pre-ride Warm Up led by F45 Shelby Township
F45 will lead all riders in an energetic, fun warm up in the parking lot. Be sure to join so you're ready for a 20 mile ride!

8:55 am - Group Kick-Off
Join us in for a group kick-off including safety reminders and thank you's. 

9:00 am - Riders Depart

9:30 am – Registration Desk Closes – all riders should be checked in and heading out on ride.

11:00am - Crossing Guards will begin leaving their posts on the Ride Route, as we expect all riders should be heading back into the banquet hall parking lot by this time.

11:30 am – The buffet lunch will begin inside the banquet hall, so that you can eat when you arrive back from the ride.

Noon - A brief program to celebrate your support and honor our charity partners. We'll also pull the raffle prize winners. 

1:00 pm – Lunch closes and we share our final thank you's!

Facts for Virtual Riders 📸
Our Virtual Riders can ride from home, in your neighborhood, or on your favorite stretch of trail!  Your individual ride can be any distance that you choose.  We suggest you complete your ride any day that is good for you during the month of August. Please post a selfie to social media and tag it with #ride2endsuicide so that we can see all of our Virtual Riders and give you lots of likes!
