Every Wednesday beginning September 9 @ 5:30 at Southern Wesleyan University will kick of a 6 race series flip flopping back and forth competing also at the Jason Griffin Racing Compound...Kids , amateurs, world class pros will battle it out on the UCI world class short track MTB race courses.. SWU and the JGR Compound will test racers skill levels in a variety of ways...Fast flowing fresh pack soil to the rough , rooty , rock gardens , and don’t forget the punchy climbs offered by both brand spanking new venues. JGR Foundation was blessed with the task of bringing bike racing to the upstate and anyone can be a winner. At least swing by to watch and let us share a family fun experience that you won’t forget..Thanks to everyone who has supported us in the past...way too many to list...Thanks for believing in our passion for 2 wheels! Why race the whole series? Because it is fun and there are great prizes for the series winners.
The overall series winner will be determined by the best overall score from 4 out of six races. Score for each race is determined by the number of participants in the race up to 10. First place is awarded 10 points, 2nd place 9 points and so on. If only 9 people are in the race, first place will be awarded 9 points, 2nd place 8 and so on. Every competitor will be awarded at least 1 point for finishing. Juniors are not eligible for cash awards.
