Description
The Celina Turkey Trot presented by Celina Lifestyle brings a storied Thanksgiving tradition to Celina. The pilgrims ran the first Turkey Trot on Plymouth Rock, making room for what would be an epic meal. Join us in Celina for Thanksgiving Day festivities including a 5K and 1-Mile Family Fun Run/Walk to prepare your body for later celebrations!
The mission of Lovepacs is to engage communities to feed children in need as an expression of Love. Lovepacs is the beneficiary for the Celina Turkey Trot. A portion of the proceeds benefits this great organization.
Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female for the overall and masters categories. Also, age group awards, 3 deep, will be given for the following groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over. Also, there will be an award for overall 4th place from Martin Marietta.

Beneficiary
A portion of our proceeds will benefit LovePacs - Born out of a desire to help children in need, Lovepacs was created in order to provide meals to students, who would otherwise go hungry during school holidays. Through coordination with local schools and its volunteers, Lovepacs engages communities to feed children as an expression of love.
Course Map 5K
The Celina Turkey Trot 5K course is at Old Celina Park! Starting and ending in the southern parking lot, participants will loop the park twice, including the west extension. Participants will run/walk in a counterclockwise direction, and the lap point will be clearly marked with cones and signage!
Course Map 1-Mile
The Celina Turkey Trot 1-mile course will start/end in the southern parking lot at Old Celina Park. Runners will start after the 5K runners have left the chute, and make one loop in a counterclockwise direction. This course does not include the west extension, but does include the trail to the south of the park. The directional arrows will be yellow, a different color from the 5K course arrows.
