We have been getting some questions about gravel camp and wanted to give y'all some more detailed information about what you can expect and who you will be working with later this month!
One of our "classroom" sessions will be a nutrition talk with @teenygils . Sarah has been a Registered Dietitian for 10 years, a bike racer for 8 years, and a lover of food for 31 years (see last photo ).
Sarah has a diploma in sports nutrition from the International Olympic Committee and has worked with collegiate sports teams to help optimize nutrition for performance. She will be discussing fueling needs for before and during training/racing, nutrition for recovery, hydration, and other tips to optimize performance and health.

From @spinistryracing IG: More on #gravelcamp sessions featuring @veronikajanel ! Veronika will be leading an interactive session on bike repair and maintenance at @thespinistry women's gravel camp this February. Link to sign up for the camp is in bio.
Veronika is an experienced mechanic who worked in bike shops for over three years before moving to Austin. She has built three bikes frame up for herself and has a home workshop. She will be covering basic maintenance to prepare for a gravel event, what to do if and when mechanical incidents occur, and the types of tools you might want to carry with you for longer endurance events.
