The Arc of Northern Virginia’s Community Challenge brings together companies and community to raise important funds to sustain and strengthen its vital programs, services, and advocacy for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. More details below!

About the 5k Race
The 5k Course starts at Shelter C at Burke Lake Park (7315 Ox Road, Fairfax Station, VA) and continues out and back, to return to Shelter C. The course is partially paved and partially on the dirt path (watch for some rocks and roots!) over mildly rolling terrain. The race ends at Shelter C for post-race festivities including food, music, and an awards ceremony.

TIMING: This race is chip timed by NoVA Race Timing www.novaracetiming.com. Race results will be posted on their website.

AWARDS

Overall Finish Categories: The top-five men and women will receive Amazon gift cards.

Age Group Categories: The top two males and females in each age group will receive Amazon gift cards: under 15, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.

All preregistered participants will receive a race bib.

ABOUT THE 2k FUN WALK

The fun walk takes place on paved road and is 1k in each direction, but participants are welcome to walk the entire 5k Course. This is a non-competitive, fun walk, and it is pet, family, wheelchair, and stroller friendly. Finish times will not be recorded.
