Welcome to our fundraiser for The 2024 Lime Challenge! Join our team at Reston Bike Club's Century Ride and start your fundraiser here.

Annually, we strive to bring together passionate riders and supporters for a scenic ride for a great cause: forging a pathway to success in the corporate workplace for students and professionals – including veterans – with disabilities. This year we will still come together, but in a new format!

Our 2024 ride will be a bit different from previous years. This year, instead of organizing our own ride, we will combine efforts with The Reston Bike Club, and hosting #TheLimeChallenge at the 41st Ken Thompson Reston Century Ride on Sunday, August 18th.  This amazing ride follows a similar route to our previous ride's course, and also includes options to ride on a gravel route!  Hundreds of cyclists will ride up to 100 miles along the suburban streets, rural backroads, and rail trails of beautiful Northern Virginia.  Lime Challenge participants will also be invited to an exclusive post ride-celebration with complimentary beer at the Bike Lane following the ride.

How to Participate

Step 1: Register for The Lime Challenge

  • In-Person Ride: Join the Lime Challenge Team via the official RBC Century website (Use code LimeConnect during checkout to be included)
    • !! Bloomberg riders: To utilize your discount, please select the "Lime Challenge - Bloomberg" option on the RBC website and select the invoice option for payment during registration.  Our team will review and manage all Bloomberg invoices.
  • Virtual Ride: Can't join us in Reston this year? Select the virtual ride option above and challenge yourself from the comfort of your local route.

"We are incredibly excited about this year's ride and eagerly anticipate gathering again in person.  We hope you will join us!" - Susan Lang, Lime Connect founding president, CEO

Note: Anyone who signs up for the in-person ride should register as part of the Lime Challenge Team on the RBC website. Participating in person is an awesome opportunity to ride more and to further rebrand disability through achievement. Each rider will be given a special sign for your bike and be recognized at our sponsored Ashburn Station on the course.  You will also be invited to our post-ride happy hour.
