Save dogs. Raise awareness. Earn Vet Care.
At Gigi’s, we believe in strengthening—not replacing—the work of local rescue organizations. Supporting shelters and rescues is one of our core principles, and this event is one way we shine a light on the people and programs making an impact every day.
>>> Being part of the Rescue Marketplace is your chance to:
- Share your mission with the community
- Showcase adoptable dogs (on leash or exercise pens, not in kennels)
- Engage with potential adopters and volunteers
- Enjoy a feel-good day that brings our collective mission to save dogs to life
>>> What You’ll Get:
- Free 10'x10' tent space to promote your organization
- $1,200 Gigi’s Rescue Vet Services credit (valid for 12 months)
- Two complimentary walk registrations
- Social media shoutout prior to the event on Gigi’s pages
>>> Guidelines:
- Only 501(c)(3) rescues and shelters may participate
- Dogs must be leashed and attended at all times — no kennels or crates
- All dogs must be fully vaccinated and behaviorally appropriate for public interaction
- Booths must be staffed by experienced team members or volunteers
- Gigi’s reserves the right to decline any rescue application for any reason
>>> On-Site Adoption Guidelines:
We welcome and encourage on-site adoptions during the event. To ensure a smooth, safe, and supportive experience for everyone involved, participating rescues must follow these basic expectations:
- Adopters should be screened on-site using your own process — a brief application, digital form, or verbal checklist is fine.
- Clearly post your adoption process and any requirements so guests know what to expect.
- Each organization must manage its own adoption agreements and fees. Gigi’s will not facilitate or collect payments.
- Only bring dogs that are truly ready for adoption, meaning fully vaccinated, sterilized, and behaviorally appropriate for a busy environment.
- All dogs must be leashed (no retractables), in an exercise pen, or securely held at all times. No kennels or crates in booth spaces.
- Be prepared for a safe handoff — adopters should leave with proper gear (leash, collar/harness).
- Limit the number of dogs in your booth to those who can comfortably and safely interact with the public.
- Participating rescues assume full responsibility for adoption decisions and outcomes.
Together, we can help more dogs find health, hope, and homes — and celebrate the organizations doing the hard work to make it possible.
