I’m riding to support Ride 4A Reason on Saturday, April 25. Ride 4A Reason (R4R) is an annual benefit bike ride from Oakland Tech to Sacramento to support public schools in Oakland and Alameda. Our fundraising efforts support more than 6,000 kids in eleven public schools.
This is the 18th year that R4R made the trek to the State Capitol, and I’m proud to be participating for the fourth time. Since its founding, R4R parents and supporters have raised over $1 million for public schools. As you have probably heard, Oakland is experiencing massive budget deficits, which makes the need for funds even greater.
My goal is to raise $1,000 - can you help?
Please consider donating $10, $20, $50 or more to help me reach my minimum goal. 100% of the funds I raise will go directly to schools. If you can only donate $5, great, too. And if you can't donate right now, that's okay. No shade.
If you'd like to donate, you can do so by clicking the big DONATE button below. If you want to send in a check, you can make it payable to "Social Good Fund" and put "R4R 2026" in the memo line. You can mail it to: Ride 4A Reason, PO Box 11386, Oakland, CA 94611.
Thank you!
