We all have loved ones who have been affected by cancer. Cancer Sucks. It's our job as a part of the BBF Team to do what we can do to help those in need. Last year, I participated in the PMC as part of a team put together by a friend of mine whose mom lost her battle with cancer. To say that participating in the challenge was eye opening is an understatement. I am forever grateful to the friends of mine over in the Melley family for introducing me to the PMC Challenge with open arms and I had so much fun with them. It was truly amazing to raise money for the Dana Farber Foundation and know it was going to those in need.
Last year I successfully raised money that was past my goal for donation purposes and finished the race in good time. Both things I plan on doing this year. I lost my grandfather this past summer and although he did not die from cancer, he had stage 4 lung cancer twice during the time he was with us. A dear friend of mine and military veteran, Taylor Frazier, has been affected by cancer this year. And as mentioned, the Melley family was affected by cancer with their mother in the past. I will be riding for all of those people on behalf of the Boston Bruins Foundation this year.
If you are able, please donate to my donation page and help me raise money to one day beat this terrible disease. I appreciate all of the people who will be donating in advance and look forward to another great race in 2024.
