Dear Family and Friends,
On September 27, 2025, the Westminster Rotary cycling team and I will be riding our bicycles in the Denver Century Ride. I’m riding the 25-mile "quarter century" route (and passing the opportunity to take on the 100 mile circuit to the top of Lookout Mountain).
In part, the ride is for the fun of it. And in part, it’s a fundraiser to help my Westminster Rotary club do good things.
The Club's main project is the Dolly Parton Imagination Library where we fund a preschool book mailed to each enrolled child once a month until the child's fifth birthday. We are Colorado's largest Imagination Library "affiliate" with nearly 10,000 preschoolers signed up - - that's nearly 120,000 preschool books every year! We also provide thousands of dollars in college and vocational scholarships each year, support CASA (which helps kids whose troubled families are involved in the social services system), send 20 middle and high school students to Rotary's summer leadership camp, and provide thousands of dollars each year to local nonprofits.
