Hi Family, Friends, & All,
Chris here—Pete’s little sister. And if you knew him, you already know I had the best seat in the house as his sibling and lifelong partner. There are some people who leave a mark on your life that never fades, and Pete…he was one for the books.
Pete was quick-witted, caring, and the kind of person who made people feel like they mattered. He had a way of bringing lightness into any room—whether it was through humor, a perfectly timed comment, or simply showing up when it counted. If you were lucky enough to know him, you know it was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of encounter.
When brain cancer entered his life, it changed everything—but it never changed who he was.
He faced it the same way he lived: with resilience, grit, and an unshakable determination to keep going. Through every challenge, he showed us what it looks like to meet the hardest moments with strength and heart.
He kept punching, all while maintaining an unwavering care for others.
And that’s what Keep Punching represents.
It’s not just about Pete—it’s about every person and every family facing brain cancer. It’s about honoring the fight, supporting one another, and refusing to let this disease define the outcome without a fight back.
Because brain cancer is relentless. It impacts lives in ways that are immediate, complex, and deeply personal. And while every journey looks different, no one should have to face it alone.
Keep Punching exists to support that fight—to fund research, to provide resources, and to stand alongside those navigating the unimaginable.
Pete showed us what strength really looks like. Not loud, not performative—just steady, determined, and full of heart and humor.
And that’s the legacy we carry forward.
When you support Keep Punching, you’re helping turn that legacy into impact. You’re standing with every person in this fight, and helping create a future with more answers, more support, and more hope.
Because this is bigger than one person—but it’s built on the kind of person Pete was. And that’s something worth carrying forward.
Being his little sister will always be one of the greatest parts of who I am. I got the best of him—his quick wit, his care for people, and the way he made life feel a little lighter, even in the hardest moments.
That’s what I hold onto. That’s what I carry forward. And that’s why I’ll keep punching and I hope you do too.
