I have been a LifeFlight of Maine Nurse for the past 8 years, and I have personally seen the importance of the work we do providing the people of Maine with the critical health care and transport they require. The ability to support the needs of the members of our many rural communities and islands as well as everyone in Maine whether a resident or guest is truly a privilege, and I continue to be humbled by the opportunity to be a part of such an organization.
This year I am late to the party, and I did not record activities during August, but my wife Amy and I are hiking up Mt. Katahdin this next weekend with our daughter, and this will be the first time to hike Katahdin for either of us even though we have lived here in Maine for 30 years, and this year this will be my activity for The Cross.
