Every mile I ride in the LOWVELO bike ride has a name and a face behind it.

My husband is a melanoma survivor. My best friend is a breast cancer survivor. We lost my stepfather to esophageal cancer in 2002 and my father to colon cancer in 2022.

Cancer has touched my family in ways I wish it never had. That's why I'm riding—to honor those we've lost, celebrate those who have survived, and help fund the research that gives more families hope for tomorrow.
