Today I rode alongside more than 350 Oakland parents, teachers, and students -- on our way to Sacramento in support of our students and their public education.

Ride 4A Reason, which is organized by friends of mine, supports more than 6,000 students in ten public schools in Oakland and Alameda to pay for field trips, nature experiences, sports, camps, and more.  

This is the 13th year that R4R will be making the trek to Sacramento and I’m proud to be part of it.  As you know, our school funding formula in CA results in glaring inequities for children living in underserved communities.  My  goal is to raise $1,000. 

100% of the funds I raise will go directly to these public schools in Oakland and Alameda. Please consider donating $10, $50, $100 or more to help me get there!  All donations are tax deductible.
