Last year I was recovering from my radiation treatment and I could only watch as Rob and our friend Stuart raced up to the top of the Space Needle. This year - I am able to join in! 823 steps - here I come!
Fred Hutch is the reason I'm still here after being diagnosed with Invasive Lobular Carcinoma (Breast Cancer) last year. I'm thrilled to be a part of this Base2Space event on September 28th as a way to say thank you to them. Their goal this year is to raise $750,000 to help with research to prevent and eliminate cancer and infectious disease. I'm hoping to raise $1,000 of that.
