I am walking for our Legacy!
I am honored to be a member of the governing board of Legacy Charter School – a tuition-free charter school educating over 450 children in kindergarten through 8th grade in Chicago’s North Lawndale neighborhood. Legacy was established by Dentons, the law firm where I have worked for over 18 years. I have been involved with the school in different ways over the years – I support and believe in the school and its mission. I am committed to ensuring that the entire Legacy community has the support needed to excel and I support Legacy because every child should have access to a world-class education regardless of their zip code.
Legacy is committed to addressing the trauma affecting our community and our youth. As a proud member of the Legacy community, I am also committed to addressing the issues that our scholars face each day. Please join us as we "Walk for Our Legacy." The goal of this virtual fundraiser is to provide funding to expand academic enrichment and social-emotional resources for Legacy's scholars.
To show my belief in the power of community I have committed to raising $500 for Legacy Charter School and to walking 13 miles by Giving Tuesday (November 28). I appreciate your encouragement, but more importantly, I need your donations! No donation is too small or too large. Please donate today!
