Cupid's Chase 5K Race Location Change
Dear Cupid's Chase Participant,
Due to ongoing safety concerns at Wheaton Regional Park, we regret to inform you that we will be unable to accommodate the Cupid’s Chase 5K scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2026. Wheaton Regional Park remains covered in ice, and our team has been monitoring conditions daily. For the safety of our runners, volunteers, and staff, we are unable to hold the race at this location.
The good news is that you may participate in our Cupid’s Chase 5K in Baltimore this Saturday, which is located at:
West Shore Park, 401 Light Street, Baltimore, MD 21202

Packet pickup will remain on February 13 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Road Runner Sports, 1807 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852.
We understand that this change may be inconvenient, and we sincerely apologize. You may choose one of the following options:
- Attend and participate in the race at our Baltimore location this weekend, or
- Defer your registration to next year’s race on Saturday, February 13, 2027.
Please select an option below or email MarieNoelle.Akegnan@comop.org by tomorrow, February 13, at 3:00 PM ET, to let us know which option you prefer. If we do not hear from you by this deadline, your registration will automatically be deferred to next year’s race.

Every February, this national race series celebrates Community Options’ founding. Last year, over 11,000 runners nationwide joined us, creating a fantastic crowd and raising funds to provide housing and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. We welcome runners, walkers, participants with baby strollers or wheelchairs and sponsors to be part of our 18th annual race!

Race Description
- Check-in begins at 9:00 AM and the race starts at 10:00 AM.
- The event is fully accessible and pet-friendly, but all pets must remain leashed at all times.
- This is a certified 5K with professional timing. All results will be posted immediately after the race.
- To guarantee your Cupid's Chase shirt, please register by January 1, 2026; after that date, shirts will be available while supplies last.
- Giveaways include a Cupid's Chase finisher medal and drawstring bag, available while supplies last.
- Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 overall male and female finishers.
- Age group medals will be awarded to the overall male and female finishers in each of the following 14 age groups: 12 & under, 13–15, 16–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69 and 70 & over.
- This is a rain or shine event. All registration fees are non-refundable.
