I’m currently going through orientation to become a City Dogs volunteer. I recently attended their Volunteer Extravaganza at Forest City Brewery to learn more about how we can help. There, I had the opportunity to meet an incredible group of people who devote their time, energy, and hearts to caring for and advocating for the animals that come through Cleveland Animal Care and Control.
It was truly inspiring to witness this team's passion for every dog, no matter their past or condition. Every volunteer I met had a story to share about a dog they walked, advocated for, or simply loved when no one else could. It reminded me that this work doesn’t just change the lives of dogs—it changes people too.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me, and for helping make a difference in the lives of these beautiful creatures. 🐾
